When existing roofs have passed their sell by date and require a complete strip and re-clad / replacement, Alltite Ltd can carry out this work on a Cut and Cover basis. This means that we will only remove an amount of the old roof which we can re-clad in one working day, this will keep your building 99% watertight and maintain the security of your building at the end of each day.

Once your old roof has been stripped any one of 3 systems can be installed:-
KINGSPAN COMPOSITE INSULATED PANEL
Comprising of a 0.4mm thk fully galvanised bright white liner system, fully bonded to each metal surface with PIR (polyisocyanurate) LPCB Insurance approved foam insulation in various thicknesses from 40mm up to 120mm, with an outer profiled PVC coated roofing sheet.
We specify and install Kingspan Composite Range of Insulated Panels; these panels come with a 25 year whole panel guarantee and a 40 year external coating Guarantee.
BUILT UP METAL ROOFING SYSTEM
Unlike the Composite panel above, the Built up System comprises of two separate metal skins separated with a galvanised cavity rail system with Insulation wool installed within the cavity, any thickness of insulation can be catered for depending on the U Value required. It is recommended that our Anti- Condensation roofing sheet is used with all built up roofing systems.
SINGLE SKIN ROOF CLADDING
If the building is an uninsulated type then we can re-roof with a 0.5 or 0.7mm thk Single Skin Roof Sheet thk Polyester or PVC Coated Plastisol. This replacement cladding will make your roof look phenomenal.
The above single skin specification above can also have our Anti Condensation Non-Woven Fabric adhered to the underside of the roof sheet, this product is guaranteed not to drip, for this product to work efficiently it must have good ventilation.
STRIPPING OFF OLD ROOFS
Stripping all metal roof systems is fairly straight forward by removing the fixings, stacking on the roof and removing from the roof with a Telehandler. Once the old roof is stripped off, we fit a replacement and have your new roof looking stunning.
With Asbestos Roofing Sheets more care and personal protection is required in the form of Paper overalls, gloves and special dust masks as specified by the Health and Safety Executive.
